Hot-rolled by cold forming

Hot-rolled cold-forming steels are ranked in ascending order of formability and can be used from the least critical stampings (DD11) to the deepest embeddings (DD14). If not specified, the material is supplied with pickled and oiled surface.

"Black" hot rolled laminate - with a rough rolling surface, so called because of the presence of calamine - is available. Calamine is an oxide layer that characterizes the coloring and protects the material from weathering.
